  • OFCY's Request for Proposals (RFP) for the next three-year funding cycle, 2022-2025, is scheduled to be released in early January 2022. Proposals will be due approximately 6 weeks after RFP release.
  • The RFP will be to implement the Strategic Investment Plan for 2022-2025 once adopted.
  • Oakland City Council's Life Enrichment Committee approved the plan on November 15, 2021 and sent it to the full council on the consent calendar for 12/7/2021 for adoption. Click here to get info on City Council meetings and agendas

In advance of the RFP, OFCY encourages public and non-profit agencies to review the draft Strategic Investment Plan for 2022-2025 and prepare to gather key agency documentation and information that will be required with applications. Elements that OFCY has historically requested that applicants provide upon submission include (note: subject to change for RFP 2022):

  • Agency Budget including revenue and expenses for current year
  • Board of Directors Roster with terms and roles
  • 501c3 letter of tax exempt status with accurate information for agency
  • Audited financial statements from within last two years
  • 990 IRS tax returns from most recent filing
  • Letters of Agreement between key partners
