OFCY POC
The Planning and Oversight Committee (POC) is the public body that oversees the Oakland Fund for Children and Youth (OFCY).
- The POC is comprised of 17 Oakland residents, one youth and one adult for each of the seven council districts with one appointment by the Office of the Mayor.
- The POC meets on the first and/or third Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm, at Oakland City Hall, in Hearing Room 4 on the 2nd floor, unless otherwise noticed.
All meetings are open to the public.

How to Apply to Become a Member of the POC
Please fill out and complete the online application form on the City of Oakland Boards and Commissions website at: https://www.oaklandca.gov/Government/Boards-Commissions

Select Children’s Fund Planning and Oversight Committee from the list on the left.

Click on the green button labeled Apply.

Fill out the required fields on the application.
- When application is complete, click on the green button labeled Submit.
