Planning & Oversight Committee
The Planning and Oversight Committee (POC) is the public body that oversees the Oakland Fund for Children and Youth (OFCY).
The POC is comprised of 17 Oakland residents, appointed by the City Council and the Mayor. One adult and one youth is appointed by each City Councilmember, and one representative is appointed by the Office of the Mayor. The POC meets on the first and/or third Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm, at Oakland City Hall, in Hearing Room 4 on the 2nd floor, unless otherwise scheduled. All meetings are open to the public. Sign up for the Mailing List located in the left menu to receive regular announcements for upcoming POC and subcommittee meetings.
