OFCY 2022-2025 Request for Proposals - Closed

The Oakland Fund for Children and Youth (OFCY) released the 2022-2025 Request for Proposals (RFP) on January 10, 2022 to solicit program proposals from non-profit organizations and public agencies. The City of Oakland projects approximately $18 million in grant funding will be available through this RFP in FY22-23 to provide direct services for Oakland children and youth from birth through 21 years of age and their families and caregivers. Proposals were due by 5:00pm February 22, 2022.

Funding Recommendations

The OFCY Planning and Oversight Committee approved the FY22-25 RFP funding recommendations at the May 9th POC meeting. For a list of recommended programs on May 9th, click here. 

 

Appeals

The OFCY Planning and Oversight Committee approved the FY22-25 RFP funding recommendations at the May 9th POC meeting. Any applicant that is not recommended for funding may submit an appeal to OFCY for one or more of the following criteria: 1) Unfair Process, 2) Material Mistake of Fact, 3) Conflict of Interest. Disagreement with the funding decision is not grounds for appeal. Appeals must be submitted via email to OFCY at ofcy@oaklandca.gov no later than Wednesday, May 18, 2022 by 12:00 pm.
