The OFCY funds many different programs that provide direct services to children and youth throughout the city of Oakland. We work with individual agencies as well as collaborations of public, private and non-profit partners. Programs currently funded by OFCY focus primarily on afterschool hours and address following four components: keeping kids safe, connections with caring adults, community benefit and enhancement and grounding in youth development or early childhood principles.
